Manhunt Underway After Gunman Kills 3 Police Officers in Canada
Three Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers were killed and two more were wounded during a shooting Wednesday evening in Moncton, New Brunswick. The gunman, identified by authorities as 24-year-old Justin Bourque, remains at large.
The shootings occurred in the streets of a neighborhood subdivision, where witnesses saw Bourque, dressed in camouflage and heavily armed, open fire on police officers. Joan MacAlpine-Stiles saw the shooter walking through the neighborhood. She tells CBC:
"It was really warm in the house, so we opened up the windows in the family room and there he was going across through the back with this rifle on his shoulder," she said.
"I said, 'Oh my God, there he is with camouflage and the headband and a gun, and it looked like a bow he had with him. And I mean he was just through our backyard.'"
Another witness, Vanessa Bernatchez, watched with her family as an officer was shot. She uploaded video to her Facebook:

Police have launched a manhunt for Bourque, whom they believe to have escaped to a wooded area nearby.
