Man Surprises His Fiancée With Long-Lost Teddy Bear as Christmas Gift
Trying to top his 2012 Christmas gift (an engagement ring), Vas Alli decided to replace his fiancée's childhood bear, "Whitey," which had long ago lost his stuffing and been packed away. But that turned out to be more of a challenge than he expected.
He spent more than a month sorting through thousands of vintage bears online, until finally he found the right one. With the help of his fiancée's mother, Alli took the new bear and the old bear's remaining parts to the Secaucus Doll and Teddy Bear Hospital for restitching and repair. Judging from his fiancée's reaction in the video, the hard work was worth it.
