A Japanese man has been accused of raping more than 100 women who thought they were participating in a sleep study. The man allegedly sold videos of the attacks online, making more than $100,000.

According to CNN, Hideyuki Noguchi was arrested after one of his victims saw herself in a video.

The 54-year-old reportedly confessed to raping about 100 women, all of whom apparently responded to his ads seeking participants for a study "measuring blood pressure during sleep." Noguchi, who has no medical training, allegedly invited the women to various hotels and hot springs, where he drugged and raped them.

AFP reports that police in Chiba, Japan, have identified more than 30 victims from across Japan.
