Jimmy Kimmel's Tears for a 7-year-old With Cancer Are Not a Hoax
Late night host and reason-we-can't-have-nice-things Jimmy Kimmel has made a schtick out of destroying your ability to trust a viral video ever again, but the tears he cried for a 7-year-old boy with cancer were no hoax.
Kimmel invited California first-grader "Super Max" Wilford to appear on Kimmel Live Wednesday night after receiving a touching video plea from Max's elementary school classmates and principal. The kids, inspired by Max's battle with brain cancer, are trying to build the world's longest rainbow loom chain to raise money for research, and Kimmel is giving them a boost by auctioning off his own suit.
After bringing out Max's favorite superhero, Iron Man, and presenting Max with his very own super-cape, Kimmel ended the segment choking back sobs.
This video evidence of Kimmel's little Grinch heart spontaneously growing three sizes is almost enough to make up for the worst twerk fail ever and the Sochi Wolf. Almost.
