It was a typical scene at Donald Trump’s Super Tuesday rally in Louisville, Kentucky: A protester, surrounded by Trump supporters and jostled by them until she left the premises. According to the protester in question, it was perhaps even uglier than usual. “I was called a nigger and a cunt, and got kicked out,” Shiya Nwanguma said after the incident.

Nwanguma, a University of Lousiville student, made the comment in a cell phone video that was posted to Facebook. Nwanguma’s outfit and backpack in the Facebook video clearly match the attire of the person seen being pushed by Trump supporters.

The activist and New York Daily News columnist Shaun King devoted his latest column to the incident, calling it the “natural progression” of the U.S. white supremacist movement’s embrace of Trump.

King speculates that the bearded man in a red cap seen in the video pushing Nwanguma is Matthew Heimbach, a prominent young white supremacist. Heimbach first gained attention for starting a “White Student Union” at his college and was later called the “The Little Führer” and “Newest Leader of White Nationalists” in an Al-Jazeera profile.

It looks like King is correct. Heimbach wrote in a blog post for the Traditionalist Youth Network, a fascist organization he founded, that he was present at the rally. He wrote that black protesters who were “shouting and barking and pushing” started the confrontations, and acknowledged that “yours truly” can be seen in one of the clips:

Now there’s some viral footage of several heated moments in Louisville. One features yours truly helping the crowd drive out one of the women who had been pushing, shoving, barking, and screaming at the attendees for the better part of an hour. I’ll avoid any additional Trump events to ensure that I don’t become a distraction, but the entire point of the BLM’s tactics is to push people until they push back. It won’t be me next time, but White Americans are getting fed up and they’re learning that they must either push back or be pushed down.

Taken out of context, the elderly veteran, several others in the crowd, and I appear to be roughing up the woman because she’s Black. There were several Blacks in attendance who were supportive of Trump, and some of the BLM and anti-Trump protesters distanced themselves from the hostile mob, protesting in a civil manner.
