Four elderly men were found held captive in a home in "deplorable" conditions in Houston. According to reports, the men, imprisoned for a decade, were being kept there while their captor cashed in the checks they were receiving (possibly from Social Security).

The police report that the front door of the building was nailed shut. The men were held in a room without chairs or beds, covered in trash. Three of the men weren't able to walk, all were malnourished. The men were 79, 54, 74 and around 65 years old.

The police discovered the group when a concerned neighbor called the authorities.
