Today, in terrifying clown news: A Wisconsin man dressed as a clown was arrested after drunkenly holding a young child over a railroad overpass.

The suspect, Antonio Brown, reportedly returned home from a Halloween party at 1 a.m., very drunk, and asked his girlfriend's two children, aged 13 and 8, to take a walk with him along nearby train tracks. The children, who had apparently had enjoyable experiences walking with him before, excitedly agreed.

Brown, still in clown makeup, then made the children drink—the 13 year old reportedly drank so much he threw up— before dragging the two, who were both screaming, into the woods.

The children tried to escape only to be caught by Brown, who, as punishment, hung the 13-year-old by his feet over the overpass while yelling, “If you do that again, I'm going to drop you,” according to Kenosha News.

Brown was arrested after a woman saw the children crying as they walked home and called the police. He was charged with two counts of physical abuse of a child and two counts of second-degree recklessly endangering safety, and is being held on $10,000 bond. If convicted, he could get 16 years in prison.

On the plus side: only one more day of clown season.
