Disgruntled Customer Receives 'Threatening Dildo' After In-Store Spat
An Oklahoma man is demanding an apology and the termination of a Tractor Supply Company employee after he received a "threatening dildo" in the mail following a confrontation at a local Tractor Supply store last year.
Ralph Polnicky of Sparks says he went to the Tractor Supply in Shawnee last October to complain about a botched order.
Heated words were exchanged with the store's assistant managers, and eventually Polnicky was ordered to "get out and don't come back."
Polnicky figured that was the end of that, but a few months later he was surprised to receive an anonymous parcel which he believes was sent by someone at the Tractor Supply store.
Inside was an 8-inch dildo with the words "Ralph Is A Dick," "From the Tractor Supply," and "Don't Come Back" scribbled on the sides.
"My wife was, just, ‘Oh my God! What, who is this? What do they want? What are they going to do next?’" Polnicky recalled.
After informing Tractor Supply of the "threatening dildo," Polnicky received a letter from the company's VP of Store Operations, Andy Willett, telling him the investigation has reached a dead end and would be closed.
Willett dismissed Polnicky's request for the employment of "more sophisticated and invasive detection techniques."
Reached for comment by KFOR-TV, Tractor Supply Company said that a "thorough investigation provided no basis to conclude that a Tractor Supply Company team member is responsible for this unfortunate situation."
Polnicky remains unsatisfied and is currently considering taking legal action to seek emotional damages.
