Congressman Calls Reporter a "Shitting Robot," Mulls Run for Senate
Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.), one of the wealthiest anti-corporate corporatists in Congress, may possibly run for Marco Rubio’s open Senate seat. Nothing’s certain! Except that Alan Grayson, one of the most obnoxious members of an obnoxious Congress, will make an ass of himself. Just look what he did today.
Grayson, who once delighted liberal Bush-haters with his “amusingly incendiary” antics, took time off from his bizarre, acrimonious (and allegedly physical) divorce Wednesday to speak with the media. Specifically, he seems to have conversed with Tampa Bay Times politics editor and resident curmudgeon Adam Smith, who tweeted a fun anecdote from their exchange:

Purple prose for a purple state, aywot? Grayson hasn’t announced his intentions regarding Rubio’s soon-to-be-vacant post, which has beleaguered state Dems salivating like an abused pound dog watching a kennel volunteer nibble down a cheese steak. Democrats are close to anointing the younger, duller Rep. Patrick Murphy as their Senate hopeful, but Grayson insists “our voters will crawl over hot coals to vote for me.”
That’s certainly what it feels like, Alan.
