A group of HSBC bankers executed their own careers when they decided to make a mock ISIS beheading video, and then compounded that stupidity by voluntarily posting the clip on Instagram.

The coat-hanger execution was apparently intended as a “team building exercise” for the group. It soon turned into a “poor decision making exercise” when one of the bankers apparently decided to share the excitement with his Instagram followers.

He later deleted the post, but it was too late: according to the Sun, the bankers were immediately reported by “appalled coworkers” following them on the app.

Common sense, she triumphs. Bad month for the sacrosanct world of British banking though.
