If South Carolina governor Nikki Haley’s close-mouthed audition tape didn’t make her political aspirations explicitly clear last night, perhaps the AP can clarify: She would very much like to work in the White House.

Even as a vice president, at least to start, sure why not?

“If a candidate wanted to sit down and talk, I would sit down and talk,” she said, if you can even believe it. “It’s a big decision, it’s a family decision. But absolutely, I would sit down and talk.”

Her phone number was practically scrolling across the screen during her State of the Union rebuttal last night. OF COURSE Nikki Haley would like to sit down and talk with someone—anyone!!—about becoming vice president.

Unless the nominee is Trump, in which case Nikki Haley will see y’all in 2020.
