We Might Be Rid of the Foo Fighters for a While
If you couldn't make it past Dave Grohl's nails-on-chalkboard screams, here's the Foo Fighters frontman's statement on the future of the band.
Without making a big deal out of it, we don't have any shows after this. This is it, man. We don't have any ones after this. This is the show where we come out and we play as many songs as we can in a short period of time, because honestly, I don't know when we're going to do it again.
Are the Foo Fighters breaking up? Probably not. But it sounds like they're going on some sort of hiatus, much like aural abomination LMFAO.
If Ke$ha suddenly melts into a puddle of gravy and glitter, I might have to reevaluate my belief in a higher power.
This isn't the first mention of a hiatus from Grohl, who has been teasing us with respite for a few weeks now. But again, this sounds temporary. There's no guarantee the Foo Fighters will not be blessing us with new albums in the future.
And either way, you can still hear "Rope" approximately 18 times a day on the modern rock radio station of your choosing.
