As promised, lawyers for Britain's royal family are seeking an injunction to prevent further publication of the Kate Middleton topless pics.

Lawyers for St. James's Palace are seeking the injunction against the Mondadori media group, which publishes Closer in France (where the photos originally appeared), and Chi in Italy (where they're scheduled to appear soon).

Mondadori is owned by former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi, who is notorious for weaseling his way out of things (and into office).

Remember, there was no legal action when Prince Harry's bare ass made the front page. But these are very different circumstances — Kate was simply undressing when a photographer snapped a pic from a great distance, while Harry was drunk and cavorting about in a hotel room. That's what you get for waking up in Vegas.
