Ann Romney Says Her Favorite Show is Modern Family; Showrunner Steve Levitan Responds: She Can Officiate at Mitch and Cam's Wedding
In response to a question about what constitutes must-watch TV for her, Ann Romney told Entertainment Tonight that ABC's Modern Family topped her list of highly anticipated TV shows.
Co-creator Steve Levitan was "thrilled" at the news, but couldn't pass up the opportunity to snark a bit about it on Twitter. "We'll offer her the role of officiant at Mitch & Cam's wedding. As soon as it's legal," he tweeted, referencing Modern Family's beloved gay couple.
The Hollywood Reporter recommends Levitan not hold his breath for that cameo to happen anytime soon, noting that Mitt Romney promised attendees of the Conservative Political Action Conference that he will "fight for an amendment to our constitution that defines marriage as a relationship between a man and a woman."
