If his tirades against the paparazzi are any indication, Alec Baldwin is a person who values his privacy. Now he'll be even more removed from unwanted attention with his decision to quit Twitter.

It's a bummer, particularly because Baldwin was so active on the site, responding to fans and haters alike. He frequently engaged with the right-wing, and also made his feelings about Harvey Levin and TMZ very clear.

Of course, you can get those opinions elsewhere. In the most recent issue of Vanity Fair, Baldwin said, "I wanted to stick a knife in [Levin] and gut him and kill him and I wanted him to die breathing his last breath looking into my eyes."

As far as Baldwin's tweets go, we'll have to rely on copy-pastes and screencaps for now. He fully deactivated his account, after posting the simple goodbye, "It's been fun."

UPDATE:
As a commenter pointed out, Baldwin's Twitter still exists, but it's no longer a personal account. He's now @abfalecbaldwin, and his old @alecbaldwin tweets remain.
