18-year-old Eric Arty reportedly had money on his mind when he attempted — and succeed — to seduce his global-studies teacher Julie Warning.

"It was a bet with a group of his friends," Manhattan Theater Lab HS junior Andrew Cabrera told the New York Post. Arty and four other students were apparently involved in the bet, each pitching in $100.

All five participants spent the past three months wooing the 26-year-old Warning, with Arty ultimately winning out.

"He would go after class and basically try to seduce her," Cabrera said. "I don't know if she knew [about the bet]. They were all trying to get with her. One of his [Arty's] friends flirted with her more than anyone - I thought he would be the one, but Eric came out of nowhere and got her."

His "triumph" was allegedly caught on camera when the two shared a tender moment at Bleecker Playground in Greenwich Village last Friday.

Accompanied by a Post reporter, the "losers" showed up to congratulate Arty at his Washington Heights home. "Eric's da' man!" they reportedly shouted while holding up copies of the New York Post with the purported photographic evidence on the cover.

Arty denies that person in the photo is the teacher in question.

Warning, meanwhile, has been removed from her position and reassigned to a desk job. An investigation by the DOE is ongoing.
