On this historic day of heart-warming (if meaningless) declarations of support for gay marriage, let's just point out one more influential figure who's declared support, maybe: Method Man.

Right, so he did this interview (above) with Vibe last year, to be fair, but Ta-Nehisi Coates resurrected it yesterday, and it could not be more timely. It's right there, about a minute and a half in: "The way the world is going now, it's a beautiful thing, because there's way more tolerance, and way more open-minded people. So that's a beautiful thing if you're an artist," he says. "I love the way the world is changing right now."

This was directly after he said about weedheads, "They gonna be coming out the closet like gay men. Serious. And then we're gonna be having these marches, like the gay community did... we're gonna have these marches and we're gonna go out and we're gonna get rights and they're gonna let weedheads get married together."

So... that's support, I think!(?) And don't forget Fat Joe either. Progress! Party!
