A medical marijuana delivery in West Covina, Calif., was foiled early this morning after two men dressed as ninjas and wielding martial arts batons approached a deliveryman and stole a bag of cash and product.

Somehow, police are taking the dispensary worker's allegations seriously, and not just as a burnout lying his way out of a jam. ("Yeah, man, these fuckin' ninjas, man, they just came outta nowhere, man...")

The two ninjas were dressed in all black, had masks over their faces, and were carrying "tonfa," a specialized martial arts weapon. The San Gabriel Valley Tribune reports that police are "not aware of any other recent crimes involving suspects dressed as ninjas," so if you lost (or smoked) a lot of medical marijuana in the Los Angeles area recently, there's an idea, man.
