Katie the Goat, who gained prominence in 2006 when her tale of the dangers of nuclear power hit the papers, is conducting a farewell tour as she prepares to enter the great farm in the sky.

It's not looking too good for Katie right now. She's battling an untreatable cancer her caretaker claims is the result of living close to a nuclear power plant in Waterford, Connecticut. Katie spent today at the State Capitol, and will visit the Millstone Nuclear Power Station and New York's own Indian Point Power Plant in the coming week.

Farewell, Katie. I'll always enjoy watching your kind eat garbage and headbutt each other.
