The Top Online Stories of 2011 Are About Kim Kardashian and Other Rats
An enterprising fella named Bill Lucey took it upon himself to ask a bunch of prominent news organizations what their most highly-trafficked news story of the year was, on their websites. The results may surprise you! But we doubt it. Highlights:
- WSJ.com: That "Tiger Mom" story, duh.
- NYTimes.com: Tara Parker-Pope's "Sustainable Love" column on how to have a happy marriage. Boring yuppies.
- FoxNews.com: "Kim Kardashian on Immigration Watch List." Heh. Immigration is a topic of great concern to conservative readers.
- NYDailyNews.com: "Giant rat killed by pitchfork in Marcy Houses is believed to be Gambian pouched rat."
What do you mean, "Stories You Missed in 2011?" I think that about covers it.
