Big Bang Theory Actor Buys Charlie Sheen's Mansion
In a weird brand of CBS-sponsored kismet, Simon Helberg of The Big Bang Theory and Charlie Sheen, formerly of Two and a Half Men, are now bound together in television and real estate fate: Helberg purchased Charlie's old home in L.A. for $2.9 million.
The 4,179 square-foot Mediterranean style house, with four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, has been on the market since 2009 when Charlie and then-wife Brooke Mueller listed it for nearly $3.7 million. Simon and his wife, Jocelyn Towne, took it off their hands in late October. The home comes with the requisite Hollywood resort pool, multiple fireplaces, library, and top of the line entertainment systems. Hopefully the mansion is missing the feared Sheen hex, and Simon will enjoy many years of primetime television and sanity.
