Teresa Giudice, Real Housewives of New Jersey star and proven finance wizard, has been tapped as a cast member for the next season of Donald Trump's chief source of income, Celebrity Apprentice.

Makes total sense! Though Giudice has had success with her cook-by-numbers cookbooks and obviously nets some income from her Bravo reality show, she and her husband have still been tied up in legal battles and foreclosure crises after declaring bankruptcy in 2009 because they were something like $11 million in debt. So really there's no reason to think that she won't succeed on this show, which is about being a savvy business person.

Except, ha, of course it's not actually about being a savvy business person in the slightest! Really Teresa can probably thank Atlanta Housewife NeNe Leakes for her new gig, as Leakes was a standout on the last season of Apprentice, and keeping as much in the NBC-Universal family (which includes Bravo) as possible is great for everyone, so let's just put all the Housewives on Apprentice now!
