Troy Davis has become a cause celebre for death penalty opponents and fans of justice in general—primarily because there's substantial doubt about whether he's actually guilty of the crime he's sentenced to die for.

This morning, a Georgia parole board denied clemency for Davis. "It doesn't seem like there is a strong legal option at this point. This (the parole board hearing) is most likely it," one legal expert tells Reuters.

Davis is scheduled to die by lethal injection at 7 p.m. tomorrow. You can learn more about his case here; to take action, see here.
