The National Film Preservation Foundation at the New Zealand Film Archive discovered the first three reels of the first film that famed suspense director Alfred Hitchcock worked on as an assistant director and art director.

The first half, and only surviving copy, of the 1923 film The White Shadow was unearthed in a donation made by a late film collector. This is the only Hitchcock production that hasn't been seen in many years (though some may wish they could forget about Marnie). It's the story of two twin sisters, one who is good, one who is evil. Wait, isn't that what the new Sarah Michelle Gellar show is about? He's still relevant after all these years.
