The prestigious Cannes advertising awards are underway, a celebration that involves everyone in that ad industry at the "VP" level or higher flying to Cannes on the company dime, doing lots of coke, and giving each other one hundred jillion awards, for being the most brilliant ad people who can afford to go to Cannes.

And here's one of the "Silver Lion" winners (click to enlarge): an ad for KIA that explains how dual-zone climate control is just like... um... fucking the teacher... if you weren't in elementary school. Yeah, I get what they were "going for," but... well. No point complaining now. This is an award-winning ad. Society will just have to catch up.
