The Nastiest New Ice Cream Flavor Is Made with Insects
An ice cream shop in Missouri has been asked to stop making cicada ice cream after the health department found out about it. It wasn't such a big concern for the store, though, since Sparky's Homemade Ice Cream sold out of its only batch of the nasty stuff the day it debuted.
The ice cream was made with the boiled bugs (picked from the back yards of staffers) coated in brown sugar and chocolate and then added to a brown sugar ice cream. Disgusting! And this is just a few months after breast milk ice cream turned up. Look at the nasty creations that Ben & Jerry's Every Fucking Thing You Can Think of in Ice Cream has wrought. It's like a competition for baroque nastiness. What ever happened to, you know, strawberry?
