Today we all sifted through the Osama bin Laden death news and wondered many things. Is it OK to be happy about a human being dying? One commenter said that it's not really about that.

From cheesel:

My take on it is this:

chanting 'U-S-A' is easy.

chanting "I'VE GROWN UP IN THE SHADOW OF TWO WARS THAT HAVE PUT OUR COUNTRY'S BUDGET DEFICIT IN A DOWNWARD SPIRAL. THE BAD GUY WHO LAUNCHED US IN TO THESE WARS HAS BEEN KILLED AND OBVIOUSLY THE ENTIRE COUNTRY IS ELATED AT JUSTICE BEING SERVED, NO MATTER HOW VIOLENT. I'M UNSURE HOW I SHOULD FEEL BUT TONIGHT FOR ONCE THERE IS UNIFIED JOY AND PRIDE IN WHAT IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD." - that's a bit tougher.

"Undoubtedly the greatest country in the world" is... well, whatever. But the other stuff? Sounds about right. What do you think?
