Company execs appeared at a press conference to apologize for the April 19 hack attack, which might have compromised the credit card info of 10 million customers. It's a holiday weekend and everything, so they must be pretty serious.

Despite the presser and public display of deep bowing by the execs, U.S. lawmakers reportedly aren't so impressed by how the electro-giant's been handling the situation. Though Sony says there's no evidence that hackers made off with people's encrypted credit-card data, the company admits that a hacker "obtained other information about its account holders, including names, addresses, email addresses and birth dates." OMG that sounds so scary. To make up for the breach, Sony will cover customers' credit card replacement costs—and, in some cases, insurance—but still: UGH. Nothing like this ever happened during all those years we played Canasta with our grandma.
