Senator Calls for 'Vigorous' Oversight of Google
Republican Utah Sen. Mike Lee simply does not care for Google. It dominates the search engine field with near-monopoly power. More importantly, corrupt Barack Obama is friendly with some people at Google. And so Lee wants to conduct "vigorous" antitrust oversight into the corporation, like a socialist.
Lee sent a letter yesterday to Democratic Sen. Herb Kohl, chairman of a Senate antitrust panel, explaining his case. "The powerful position Google occupies in the general search arena creates myriad opportunities for anticompetitive behavior," Lee wrote, while proposing "vigorous antitrust oversight and enforcement in this area."
This sounds like a fun idea, actually. They should go through with it, just to annoy the arrogant executives who think they're the humanity's greatest and only hope for progress because they run a search engine website.
