Food Is So Expensive Now
Do you like food? Ohhh, shoot. Sorry. I was hoping you'd say no! Because food prices are, like, crazy right now.
World food prices rose 2.2% in February from the previous month to a record peak, the United Nations' food body said Thursday, as it warned that volatility in oil markets could push prices even higher.
There could be more than a billion "chronically hungry" people in the world soon, according to Oxfam. And they're all in America—we're starving over here! Who do we have to blow to get some more nachos? Haha. But no, most of them are disillusioned Third Worlders with guns and a very good reason to be mad.
