Outsize fashion personality Karl Lagerfeld is currently starring in a commercial for special editions of Volkswagen's Polo and Golf models. Please, Uncle Karl knows nothing of playing golf or polo shirts. Just look at him!

Apparently these models are very special and have alloy rims, tinted windows, and fog lamps. Nothing says "Fashion with a capital F" like fog lamps! Karl cashing in on his cache for a luxury car seems to make sense, but why is this very upmarket man shilling for the decidedly downmarket VW? Are they trying to revamp their image?

We're not quite sure what Karl is saying (probably something along the lines of, "I would never be so tacky as to drive a car. That's what the servants are for. Especially in Paris.") but if any of you speak German, please translate in the comments.
