Christmas movies always have some strange underlying message usually to not be selfish, but the truth is some of them are pretty comical. In every Christmas movie the main character gets owned at least once. Here are the best.

1. "You'll shoot your eye out."

From 1983 A Christmas Story is easily one of the most legendry Christmas movies of all time. Were shown a family in the middle of the Christmas rush while the main character a young Ralphie, played by Peter Billingsley, tried to convince his parents to buy him a Red Ryder Carbine-Action
Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle. In the end he shoots himself in the face with it. Fail.

2. A Charlie Brown Christmas

One of the best fails ever is within A Charlie Brown Christmas, here we see all of the children dancing, singing and then Snoopy, who is obviously the best peanuts character, takes Linus Van Pelt's blanket and wraps both Van Pelt and Charlie Brown in the blanket causing them to fall on their faces. Fairly epic fall.

3. Home Alone 2

Here we see another classic Christmas movie fail from another classic Christmas movie. In the film Home Alone 2 we see Macaulay Culkin playing a young Kevin McCallister as he booby-traps his entire house to foil two crooks named Marv and Harry played by Daniel Stern and Joe Pesci. One of the best moments in this movie is when Kevin hooks up two taps to a welder, causing Marv to get electrocuted. Some people would call this a booby-trap, others would call it murder. I'm going with murder.

4. Chevy Chase and the Sled

Every holiday movie involving Chevy Chase has one moment where he bites off more than he can chew and because of it is injured fairly badly. This is that moment from a National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. In this movie Chase, playing the loveable and determined Clark Griswold, gets totally destroyed after over waxing his sled. This has happened to everyone at least once.

5. Santa Claus Conquers The Martians

In this crazy movie there is only one group of people who fail and they're the Martins. It seems that this movie, made in 1964. Santa Clause opens a toy shop on Mars and is almost killed by some sort of mars villain. Any planet that can be conquered by a single person is lame.
