Comedy

Outsourced
Network: NBC
Airs on: Thursdays, 9:30 PM
Can Outsourced Live Up to it's Slot on NBC's Famous Thursday Night Lineup?
This new work-centric culture shock comedy is the latest show NBC thought could handle a spot on their coveted Thursday night. Surprisingly, the virtually unknown cast and show were a delightful finale to a night full of familiar comedy.

$#*! My Dad Says
Network: CBS
Airs on: Thursdays, 8:30 PM
Is $#*! My Dad Says Trying to be Edgy or Heartwarming?
A network sitcom is born from a popular Twitter feed, and gains hype from its controversial title. William Shatner signs on and we expect a train wreck, but from the start it aims to please rather than shock.

Better With You
Network: ABC
Airs on: Wednesdays, 8:30 PM
Are You in a Relationship? Because Better With You Appeals to Couples Only
The show revolves around three couples: one in the "honeymoon" phase, one unmarried couple together for nine years, and an older couple married for 35 years. Hope you like your current relationship or this show might make you feel awkward!

Running Wilde
Network: Fox
Airs on: Tuesdays, 9:30 PM
Can Running Wilde Survive on the Network That Canceled Arrested Development?
Mitch Hurwitz places his faith in FOX again with the Will Arnett/Keri Russell vehicle Running Wilde. Arrested Development (even with critical and cult celebration) lasted 3 seasons, Sit Down, Shut Up less than one. Is the third time the charm?

Raising Hope
Network: Fox
Airs on: Tuesdays, 9 PM
The Series Premiere of Raising Hope Is Funnier, Crazier Than Expected
Most of you will recognize this show as you changed the channel on after Glee ended. Others will have watched because of Cloris Leachman and that chick from all those 80's movies. The rest of you—what's your excuse?

Mike and Molly
Network: CBS
Airs on: Mondays, 9:30 PM
Will Mike and Molly Do for Fat People What the Big Bang Theory Did for Nerds?
CBS has a new sitcom that it hopes will do for overweight people what The Big Bang Theory did for nerds. It's terrible, it's just the worst.

Hellcats
Network: The CW
Airs On: Wednesdays, 9 PM
Hellcats Is the Show About Cheerleaders You Haven't Been Waiting For
The CW's new show Hellcats is part Bring It On, part Glee, and all kinds of terrible. A kind of terrible that has to be seen to be believed.

Drama

Boardwalk Empire
Network: HBO
Airs on: Sundays, 9 PM
HBO Gets Back in the Gangster Business with Boardwalk Empire
Tonight, HBO began a quest to reclaim its crown as the king of dramatic television with Boardwalk Empire. Does Martin Scorsese's foray to the small screen live up to the hype and succeed in being the best TV show ever?

Lone Star
Network: Fox
Airs on: Monday, 9 PM
The Best New Show of the Season Might Be Lone Star
FOX's new show Lone Star has gotten some of the best reviews of the season. Does this show, about a con man leading two separate lives, live up to its expectations?

My Generation
Network: ABC
Airs on: Thursdays, 8PM
My Generation: Narcissism is as American as Apple Pie
ABC's new hour-long ensemble drama is about a group of high school friends being followed around by a documentary crew. The show is absolutely terrible, in almost every aspect. Terrible in a way that has to be carefully taken dissected.

The Defenders
Network: CBS
Airs on: Wednesdays, 10 PM
The Defenders Is Guilty of Being Terrible
CBS has a new lawyer show on the schedule that brings Jim Belushi and Jerry O'Connell together at long last. Does CBS have another procedural hit on its hands?

Undercovers
Network: NBC
Airs on: Wednesdays, 10 PM
Undercovers: Like Alias Without a Plot
Undercovers is the newest brainchild of JJ Abrams, creator of fan favorites like Felicity, Alias, Lost, and Fringe. Would Undercovers be as good as JJ's previous offerings, or would it be a dud?

Terriers
Network: FX
Airs on: Wednesdays, 10 PM
FX's Terriers a Great Way to Kick Off Pilot Season
The Pitch: Terriers is the Thomas Pynchon novel Inherent Vice crossed with a little Burn Notice and a dash of Moonlighting thrown in, too.

The Event
Network: NBC
Airs on: Mondays, 9 PM
The Event Won't Save NBC
NBC's anticipated high-concept sci-fi show bowed tonight, beginning what NBC hopes is a long mystery that will entrance the whole world. So, now that it's here, will it be the successor to Lost that NBC hopes it will be?

Chase
Network: NBC
Airs on: Mondays, 10 PM
Chase Will Send You Running for Cover
NBC's new procedural about a lady Marshal and her team of bad guy hunters is as by the book as it gets.

The Whole Truth
Network: ABC
Airs on: Wednesdays, 10 PM
The Whole Truth Is a Big Surprise
ABC's the Whole Truth is a lawyer show that's largely flown under the radar and that's a shame because it's pretty good. Surprisingly good.

Final Witness
Network: ABC
Airs on: TBA
ABC's Final Witness Keeps You Watching
Final Witness is a show that dramatizes true-life crime events and narrates them from the victim's perspective, and, like most crime shows, it will be addictive.

Detroit 1-8-7
Network: ABC
Airs on: Wednesdays, 10 PM
ABC's Detroit 1-8-7 is Like Every Other Cop Show But Worse
There's a new cop show on the TV landscape, ABC's Detroit 1-8-7, and it's just like all the other cop shows that have been on in the last ten years. Except it's way worse.
