In her new, authorized biography, French first lady Carla Bruni recalls talking to Michelle Obama on a trip to Washington, during which Obama says of her post, "It's hell. I can't stand it." Only two more years, Michelle!

Update: A White House spokesperson for Michelle Obama denies that she ever said this. And Carla Bruni is "distancing" herself from this biography:

The French Embassy in Washington also released a statement denying that Mrs. Obama ever said those words. The Embassy says Bruni-Sarkozy "distances herself completely" from the book, which is due out Friday.
