Lourdes Leon's First Day of High School Totally Normal, Says Paparazzo Who Recorded It
Lourdes Leon spent her summer launching a tween clothing line with mom Madonna, and yesterday was her first day at LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts, the public school that Fame was based on. Let's see how it went.
The New York Daily News reports that Lourdes' first-day-of-school outfit consisted of "ankle-high leather boots, a black skirt, and a plaid sleeveless shirt over a white T-shirt." She carried a cellphone, wore her ffamed marijuana wristband, and did her best to avoid the skeezy paparazzi that followed her around and shot this video.
Since LaGuardia is a school for aspiring child stars, Lourdes' classmates were only too happy to turn their good sides to the camera, smile, and give interviews. The girl at 0:57 is totally preparing for her Disney Channel debut. And, hey, is that Ugly Betty at 1:19? Apparently Lourdes "blends in" with her fellow ninth graders. (Please. We all know she's going to be the most popular girl in the school.) The precociously cool offspring of Madonna and Carlos Leon is apparently in the school's drama department. [NYDN]
