Republicans took a record-setting 10-point lead in Gallup's weekly generic ballot poll, putting them in prime position to retake the House of Representatives and enact all of the great ideas they've had. Republicans also have the advantage in voter enthusiasm:

They are just super psyched to vote, aren't they? If Republicans take the House, Rep. Darell Issa (R - CA) will become chair of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which means he will just start subpoenaing everyone in the White House in the hopes he can uncover Obama's secret Koran study group, or whatever. (No, really, he will! He said so!)

But on the bright side, most of the rest of the whole "politics stuff," by which I mean, government generally not working at all, except for when it comes to bombing people in other countries, will remain the same. Huzzah!
