I think back to 2000, when I liked John McCain, & I can't tell who I'm more annoyed with— stupid sucker Mordicai in the past, or sell-out turncoat John McCain in the present.
Or wait, I can tell. It is John McCain. John McCain = Mavrick. Principals? = Goose.
In 1970, the German author Uwe Johnson mentioned McCain in an aside (dripping with irony) in his 1700 page novel, Days of the Year, never imagining that he would eventually become the face of the ugly capitalist society that he so dutifully described:

John Sidney McCain III was, for example, shot down over Hanoi. In July, he lived through the fire on the aircraft carrier Forrestal. After he had seen (his words): "what the bombs and the napalm did to the people on our ship, I'm not so sure that I want to drop that stuff on North Vietnam." But he did it, and Radio Hanoi reported his capture.
