The Marc by Marc Jacobs accessories store on Bleecker Street in the West Village is always a nasty mess of horrible tourists waiting in line. Well, one local resident is imploring her neighbors to fight back.

Racked discovered this letter that was posted in the lobby of an apartment building at Perry and Bleecker Streets today.

The store in question is pretty much ground zero for Carrie Bradshaw wannabes hopped up on sugar from putrid Magnolia Bakery cupcakes waiting to get their hands on a nice purse or keychain or pair of rain boots from three seasons ago at the tiny but popular Marc Jacobs outpost. The author (and based on the handwriting, we're assuming it's a woman) is mad as hell and she's not going to take it anymore, and she's asking for fellow West Villagers' help.

PLEASE call...(212) 564-7453...Christine Quinn's Office, West Village District, if you have had or are having any community problems with Marc Jacobs business re traffic/employees, et cetera. *They will listen!

Uh oh, Marc. You better watch out. Once the neighbors get organized against you, the end is near. Just look at what happened once a vocal and organized front mobilized against the Jane Hotel. We know Village resident Anna Wintour hates noisy neighbors but loves fashion. How will she feel about this issue? Either way, this spat between residential and commercial residents is going to be very amusing.
