America's beloved Miss USA, Rima Fakih — the first Muslim to hold that title — will hit the airwaves tonight to give her opinion on Cordoba House: it's too close to Ground Zero! This complicates everything.

Inside Edition has issued a release hyping Fakih's take:

Inside Edition caught up with Fakih backstage as she rehearsed for the Miss Universe Pageant in Las Vegas on Monday.

Fakih says she backs President Obama regarding freedom of religion, but says that there should be sensitivity as to where the NYC mosque is built, and that she does not think it is appropriate to be built near Ground Zero.

Rima Fakih: "I totally agree with President Obama with the statement on Constitutional rights of freedom of religion. I also agree that it shouldn't be so close to the World Trade Center. We should be more concerned with the tragedy than religion."

"We should be more concerned with the tragedy than religion." Don't know what that means, and it has a pretty terrifying ring to it, but it should definitely be on a t-shirt.

How does this change the nature of the "Ground Zero" "Mosque" debate, now that the pretty Muslim lady is triangulating to maintain support among the "this is offensive" crowd? Could this be a turning point in the War on Mosques?

On the other hand, Fakih's fellow strippers — who work near Ground Zero — have no problem with the proposed community center. Who is right?
