George Clooney: Still Hotter and Cooler Than Everyone Else
The American, George Clooney's new film from director Anton Corbijn, is not your typical flashy Hollywood shoot-em-up. It's a high-action assassin film that offers a calculated peek into the life of a (scorching hot) man challenged by his own bloody background.
Set in the Italian countryside, The American follows Jack, a hit man trying to escape The Business. Problem is, Jack is really, really good—the best, even—at his vocation. After being tracked down by a client with a request to construct a weapon, his seemingly peaceful Italian retreat becomes rife with the very violence he's trying to escape.
