Popular paranoid congresswoman Michele Bachmann, founder of the House Tea Party Caucus, must've caught her somethin' terrible last week, for she was hospitalized Friday! What liberal virus crept into her? No one knows, but hey, she's recovering nicely.

Bachmann made the wise decision to get gravely ill on the last day before Congress' August recess, allowing herself plenty of time to recover.

Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., was resting at her Minnesota home Sunday after being treated for an undisclosed illness in Washington, D.C.

Bachmann was admitted to a Washington hospital Friday with a sudden illness. According to a spokesperson for the congresswoman, she was treated and released the same day.

Bachmann was scheduled to campaign with Missouri Senate candidate Roy Blunt on Saturday, but her feeble condition forced her to do so via Skype. Her endorsement of Blunt had infuriated many Tea Party groups in Missouri last week.

Best wishes for a full recovery from whatever, Congresswoman Bachmann.
