Kathy Griffin called Scott Brown's daughters "prostitutes." This was not a funny joke, and now Kathy Griffin has been called out by Barney Frank even though he's gay and Kathy Griffin is the world's most fearless crusader for gay rights.

Sen. Barney Frank was on an episode of Griffin's My Life on the D-List where she courageously allowed a Human Rights Campaign protest in D.C. to serve as the set for her show, and selflessly allowed activists to be reality TV extras.

Regardless: Frank issued a crisp verbal smackdown on Griffin for picking on Brown's daughters (Click to enlarge.)

Though, honestly, a letter like this should have probably been sent out at the exact moment you agreed to do a show with Kathy Griffin.
