Newt Gingrich Is Super Serious About Running For President!
Every few months, Newt Gingrich says that he might run for president, and he's taking it seriously. Now that a few months have passed, Newt Gingrich is saying that he might run for president, and he's taking it seriously.
Newt Gingrich is exactly what the fed-up American body politic wants right now: a divisive, conniving old Washington insider slob whom people are tired of hearing about, and who will never go away. (Kind of like any Washington Post columnist.)
Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Monday he's seriously considering seeking the Republican presidential nomination and will announce his decision early next year.
Gingrich, 67, told The Associated Press that he would focus on helping Republican candidates through the midterm elections in November, then decide in February or March whether to seek the GOP nomination.
"I've never been this serious," Gingrich said.
"It's fair to say that by February the groundwork will have been laid to consider seriously whether or not to run," he said.
So he's never been this serious, but he's going to wait until February to consider seriously. C'mon Newt Gingrich, some of us are trying to get seriously excited!
