Already devastated by a decades-long shortage of the letter "R," residents of Boston are now forced to boil their water in the aftermath of "catastrophic and unprecedented pipe rupture" that's left the area without clean tap water for two days.

State officials are saying they can fix the problem within a few days, but until then Bostonians should boil any water used for drinking and cooking. If you're a bottled-water salesman, now is the time to raise prices.
