Via her eponymous firm, Schelter dabbles in photography, marketing and design for the likes of Zac Posen and Victoria's Secret, but she's better known for her busy social calendar and prodigious party planning abilities.

A graphic design and photography major at RISD, Schelter got her start in the fashion world as a fashion stylist for campaigns like Lulu Frost and celebrities like the Olsen twins and Kim Gordon. She's since been called upon as a "fashion expert" for segments on the Style Network and as a columnist for the Vogue, Style.com, and the Huffington Post. However, she's best known for her firm Kate Schelter LLC which she founded in 1998, an elite branding firm that has orchestrated campaigns for the likes of American Express, Saks Fifth Avenue, The Palms Casino, and Universal Pictures. Her work has been recognized by publications like the New York Times and Vanity Fair, and she even holds a spot as a committee member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America. [Image via Getty]
