Alessandra Ambrosio is a leggy fashion model and veteran of numerous Victoria's Secret ad campaigns.

Brazilian native Ambrosio entered the Elite Look of the Year contest in 1996 at the age of 15. She didn't win, but she did catch the attention of the agency, which gave her a modeling contract a year later. A steady stream of small modeling gigs followed before she landed the cover of Brazilian Marie Claire and decamped to New York (where she shared an apartment with Gisele Bundchen and Adriana Lima when she first arrived). Ambrosio was still a relative unknown when Guess picked her for their Millennium campaign in 2000. She's since become one of the most popular faces on the fashion and advertising scene, earning supermodel status when Victoria's Secret selected her to be one of their "Angels."

At the age of 11, embarrassed by her big ears, Ambrosio went under the knife to fix them. She has said that she suffered so much from the operation that she hasn't had any more work done since. In 2005, she kicked model Marcello Baldrini to the curb when she caught him making out with another woman at Marquee before taking up with Jamie Mazur, with whom she had a baby named Anja Louise in August 2008.
