The former press secretary to First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, Caputo is an Executive Vice President of Global Marketing and Corporate Affairs at Citigroup and leads the financial institution's efforts to reach out to women as president of the firm's (rather ridiculously) named Women & Company.

A graduate from Brown and Northwestern, Caputo spent her early career in the public sector. She entered the political field as the National Issues Press Secretary for the 1988 Dukakis-Bentsen presidential campaign and increased her wattage as the director of Al Gore's media operations for the Democratic National Convention. However, she got her big break as Deputy Assistant to the President and Press Secretary for Hillary Clinton when she was first lady. Overseeing media relations for the First Family, she acted as their chief spokesperson and still made media appearances on behalf of the Clintons' as late as 2008 with Hillary's bid for President. After spending the first term with the First Family, Caputo moved to the private sector, working as a VP for CBS and Disney Publishing before joining Citigroup, where she's been ever since. She started there as a media relations executive but made her mark when she founded Citi's Women & Company, a division geared to women's specific financial needs. A major revenue generator with assets of over $30 billions dollars, Caputo balances Women & Company with her responsibilities as a EVP of Global Marketing, where she spearheads rebranding efforts for Ciit and develops corporate advertising.
