Jimmy Fallon Does His Best to Make Jay Leno Seem Likable
If you're NBC, how do you save face after your worst PR crisis ever? Apparently, you have one of your two remaining late night hosts (Carson Daly doesn't count) appear on the other's program. Jimmy Fallon on Jay Leno, inside.
Fallon appeared via satellite tonight to participate in Leno's 10@10 segment (you know, the one in which Jimmy Kimmel obliterated Leno to his face). The bit was actually somewhat entertaining—after being asked by Leno if he'd ever been fired from a job, Fallon responded, "Why, have you heard something?"—but the jury's still out on whether or not it will help to repair Leno's reputation with the non-Oprah-watching American public.
