We were so caught up in the late night ember-spewing hysteria last night that one thing went completely overlooked: Kiefer Sutherland went on Letterman in an adorable little green number. And he looked fabulous.

So apparently he lost a bet. He bet a friend that the New England Patriots would win last weekend. They didn't. Ipso facto, Kiefer Sutherland is in a dress on Letterman's couch.

Somehow this seemed like the most normal moment among a sea of insanity.
