In Touch Editor Quits Over Poverty Wages
As we heard yesterday, In Touch editor Richard Spencer did indeed quit abruptly Monday. Keith Kelly says that Spencer walked out with no warning while the mag was on deadline, apparently irked at his paltry salary.
Signs point to a monumental blow-up between Spencer and Hubert Boehle, CEO of In Touch owner Bauer Publishing — possibly over Spencer's demands for a boost in the $750,000-a-year compensation package he was said to be pulling down.
